- The candidate must possess proficiency in addition, subtraction, multiplication, and division, as well as neat handwriting. They must be honest, trustworthy, and of good character, with a pleasant personality and a healthy, well-built physique. The candidate must be willing to travel to remote rural areas to take meter readings and distribute bills, while also informing consumers about the objectives and programs of the Palli Bidyut Samity (PBS). Proficiency in riding a bicycle is required, and the candidate must own a bicycle.
